RETURN FROM THE OTHER PLANET at San Francisco Jewish Film Festival

The documentary The Return from the Other Planet (dir: Assaf Lapid, prod: Naomi Levari, Saar Yogev) will screen at the 43rd edition of the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival. The documentary centers on Yehiel De-Nur, the famous Israeli writer who wrote under the pseudonym Ka-tzetnik. De-Nur described Auschwitz as “the other planet”, comparable to nothing in this world. Haunted by trauma 30 years after the war, De-Nur hoped to finally find peace in the Netherlands with the help of LSD therapy. The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival is held from July 20th – 30th.
