The Palmnicken Tragedy (dir: Andrey Proskuryakov, producers: Anna Adamskaya and Anastasia Velskaya) screened at the 2023 Shanghai International Film Festival. The documentary recounts the events of January 31st, 1945, when Nazis shot about 3,000 prisoners of the Stutthof concentration camp, mostly women and teenage girls, in the town of Palmnicken (now Yantary, Russia).
