The Most Precious of Cargoes (dir: Michel Hazanavicius, prod: Michel Hazanavicius, Patrcik Sobelman) has been nominated for 3 Cesar Awards, the French equivalent of the Oscars. It has been recognized in the categories of Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score, and Best Animated Feature.
The film follows a Polish woodcutter who discovers a baby girl that was thrown from a train by her Jewish father to save her. The woodcutter and his wife take care of the child despite knowing that this could lead to their death.
