On Sept. 15, The Monopol (dir; Gal Genossar, prod; Nati Brooks) screened as the closing night film of the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival, where it won the Best Faith-Based Film award. The film has also traveled throughout the Montreal Jewish community for lectures organized by the Israeli consulate. Upcoming festivals include: Brampton International Nollywood Film Festival in Canada (Oct. 3) and Cyprus International Film Festival “Golden Aphrodite Awards” (Oct. 25- Nov. 1).
