Orphan (dir: László Nemes, prod: Mike Goodridge, Gregory Jankilevitsch, Ildikó Kemény, Alexander Rodnyansky, Ferenc Szále), from the director of Academy Award-winning and Claims Conference-supported film Son of Saul, will world premiere in-competition at the Venice International Film Festival. The film follows a young boy after the Hungarian uprising of 1956, raised by his mother with the tale of an idealized dead father, as he is confronted with a brutish man who claims to be his real father.
