We are thrilled to announce that Neshoma (dir. Sandra Beerends, prod. Floor Onrust) has been awarded the Golden Calf (Gouden Kalf) for Best Feature Documentary at the 2025 Netherlands Film Festival!
Neshoma (also titled Nesjomme) weaves together personal testimony and archival footage to bring to life the spirit of pre-war Jewish Amsterdam and the experience of the young Rusha, whose life and choices during the interwar period and the onset of World War II form the emotional core of the film.
