Disposable Humanity (dir/prod: Cameron S. Mitchell) will be screened as part of the ReelAbilities Film Festival: New York, the largest festival dedicated to films by and about people with disabilities.
The film investigates the Nazi Aktion T4 program, revealing how the systematic murder of disabled people became a precursor to the Holocaust and how this history has been largely erased from public memory.
Screenings will take place April 27 in Staten Island and April 28 at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, with additional virtual access available April 24–May 3.
