AMONG NEIGHBORS – U.S. Premiere

Following a successful world premiere in Warsaw last year, Among Neighbors (dir/prod: Yoav Potash) will make its stateside debut at this year’s Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Combining evocative hand-drawn animation with revelatory interviews and verité footage, the film examines Jewish-Polish relations through the story of Gniewoszów, a small, rural town where Jews and Polish Catholics lived side by side for centuries.

The film will also screen on Feb. 18, as part of the Opening Night of the Jewish Film Institute WinterFest, co-presented with SF IndieFest as the Closing Night of the 27th San Francisco Independent Film Festival (February 6–18). More here.
