Catherine Benmaor has released a four-part Enfant de la Shoah series featuring the testimony of Ginette Kolinka. Now over 100 years old, Kolinka continues to dedicate herself to Holocaust education through regular talks with students and institutions across France.
The series traces Kolinka’s experience as a 17-year-old Jewish girl living under Nazi occupation, from persecution and arrest in France to deportation aboard Convoy 71 to Auschwitz alongside Simone Veil and Marceline Rosenberg. Recounting the arrival at Auschwitz and the separation from her father and younger brother, Kolinka reflects on the rupture of ordinary life under the Holocaust with striking clarity and urgency.
Episodes are available on YouTube and major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Deezer, with multilingual translation options available through YouTube.
