Benelux Stolpersteine Gathering Explores Innovation in Holocaust Remembrance

On June 19, 2026, volunteers, researchers, educators, and heritage professionals from across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg will gather in Eindhoven for the Benelux Stolpersteine Gathering: Stolpersteine in the Digital Age – Innovation in Holocaust Remembrance.

Designed for those involved in Holocaust remembrance initiatives, the event will explore how digital tools, archives, storytelling, and emerging technologies can support remembrance efforts and strengthen community engagement.

The program will also feature the presentation of Stolperstories.eu, a new Claims Conference-supported initiative that aims to connect Stolpersteine communities and make the stories behind the memorial stones more accessible through digital technologies.

The event is free and will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Herinneringscentrum Hornemann, Stadhuisplein 3, 5611 EM Eindhoven.
