Documentary film I Want to Tell My Story (dir/prod: Tomer Heymann, prod: Leigh Heiman) has been selected for the Israeli Competition at the 42nd Haifa International Film Festival, taking place September 26 through October 3.
The film follows Shimon Rothschild as he approaches his 100th birthday and reconstructs his life on a specially built studio set. Rothschild directs actors portraying members of his family who were murdered in the Holocaust while revisiting his survival of Auschwitz, medical experiments at Sachsenhausen concentration camp, a death march, and his life after the war.
