STRENGTH OF COURAGE Film Series Opens at Museum of Jewish Heritage

Opening Night

Yesterday marked the opening night of the Strength of Courage global film series. Our first screening was hosted by the Museum of Jewish Heritage. The series, running April 14–20 across New York, Germany, and Israel, presents films that explore stories of resilience, survival, and moral courage during and after the Holocaust.

The opening event in New York featured screenings of three short films: Sevap/Mitzvah, See You Soon, and Inked: Our Stories Remarked, followed by a panel discussion with directors Sabina Vajrača, Jennifer Skarbnik, and Dara Bratt. The discussion was moderated by Andrew Silow-Carroll, editor at large for 70 Faces Media, and began with a special introduction by Holocaust survivor Gabriella Major.

The Strength of Courage series highlights the enduring impact of Holocaust storytelling through film, emphasizing individual acts of bravery, resistance, and humanity, and aims to engage audiences across generations in preserving memory and confronting hatred.

Free screenings are open to the public. For more information and tickets, please visit the Strength of Courage Film Series page.
