Melissa Hacker Participates in Anderson Center Artist Residency

Congratulations to Claims Conference grantee Melissa Hacker on participating in the June 2026 Artist Residency at the Anderson Center in Red Wing, Minnesota. The multidisciplinary residency brings together artists from around the world, providing dedicated time and space to advance creative work and engage in cross-disciplinary exchange.

Melissa Hacker is the director of the Claims Conference supported film Ex Libris, a documentary that explores the recovery and restitution of books looted by the Nazis during the Holocaust. Through the stories of librarians, archivists, and survivors, the film examines the enduring importance of preserving Jewish cultural heritage and memory.
