A Dangerous Journey (dir: Lucija Stojevic, Carla Melo, Laura Ginès, Iulia Voitova; prod: Noon Films, Avec ou Sans Vous) has been selected for the ICEX Women in Animation from Spain pitch at MIFA Annecy, the world’s largest and longest-running animation festival.
The story follows three children labeled “undesirables” during World War II who form unexpected bonds across languages and cultures inside a French internment camp. Told through three films and three distinct animation styles, the project explores how the echoes of the past continue to resonate in the present.
The pitch will take place on June 25.
