Pepi Fandango (dir; Lucija Stojević, prod: Andrés Bartos Amory) has numerous screenings and festival recognitions this season! The film follows Peter ‘Pepi’ Perez, a Viennese Holocaust survivor, as he embarks on a journey with his musician friend Alfred: to write a fandango, a song in a flamenco style that haunts Pepi to this day. Upcoming screenings, competitions, & premieres include:
Oct. 11th: Special screening at Rivesaltes Memorial, with Stojević and Perez in attendance. This will mark the first time that Perez is invited to speak at the historic site at the film’s center.
Oct. 10-24: Dokumentale Festival Berlin (German premiere, in-competition)
Nov. 6-10: Boston Jewish Film Festival (US Premiere)
