Neshoma (dir: Sandra Beerends, prod: Floor Onrust) began screening for the public in over 30 Dutch cinemas on Jan. 2. In the film, numerous excerpts from archive footage of pre-War Jewish Amsterdam and are connected by the fictional character of Rusha, a Jewish Everywoman from the interbellum, constructed from testimonies of contemporaries and survivors of the Holocaust.
