The documentary Among Neighbors (dir/prod: Yoav Potash). — launched its theatrical release this October at Quad Cinema in New York City. Following its New York premiere, Among Neighbors will continue with screenings across the U.S. and Canada throughout November and December.
Blending hand-drawn animation, eyewitness testimony, and vérité footage, Among Neighbors explores the intertwined lives of Jewish and Polish neighbors in a small Polish town of Gniewoszów and the tragic unraveling of that coexistence during World War II. The film invites audiences to confront questions of memory, silence, and moral responsibility.
