The documentary short film, The Girl From Salonika (dir: Alison Jayne Wilson), won Best War and Peace Theme Film at the Mannheim Arts and Film Festival. The Girl From Salonika tells the story of Mazaltov ‘Fofo’ Behar, a 17-year-old Greek girl deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau and a victim of Nazi sterilization experiments at the hands of Nazi doctor Horst Schumann.
