Congratulations to the crew of The Grandfather Puzzle (dir: Ora DeKornfeld, prod: Noemi Veronika Szakonyi, Máté Artur Vincze) for winning the Tom Rankin Audience Award for the Best Short Film at the 2026 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Durham, NC.
The film explores a filmmaker who creates puzzles of her 100-year-old Holocaust survivor grandfather’s past with the hopes of unlocking his memories and bridging the silence that has defined their relationship.
