Congratulations to the films Hitler’s Eye and The Archives on becoming new Reprise Grantees of Jewish Story Partners.
Hitler’s Eye (dir: Dror Moreh; prod: Sigrid Dyekjaer, Natalie Humphreys, Philippe Levasseur, Konstanze Speide, Harry Vaughn) – A documentary examining a privately held collection of photographs connected to Hitler’s inner circle and the insights they provide into Nazi visual culture.
The Archives (dir/prod: Bernadette Wegenstein; prod: Renée Frigo & Henrique Landulfo) – A film following efforts to preserve and interpret Holocaust-era records as archivists and families work to safeguard historical memory.
Jewish Story Partners is underwriting free screenings of the films within The Education-Impact Program, which will be distributed by their collaborator Good Docs. The program includes Claims Conference supported films Hannah Arendt: Facing Tyranny (dir: Jeff Bieber & Chana Gazit; prod: Jeff Bieber, Chana Gazit, Salme M. López Sabina), a documentary exploring the life and work of political theorist Hannah Arendt and the ongoing relevance of her analysis of totalitarianism; and, Among Neighbors (dir/prod: Yoav Potash; exec prod: Anita Friedman), a film that reflects on Jewish-Polish relations through the story of a survivor revisiting events that shaped her early life.
Jewish Story Partners is now accepting applications for their Spring 2026 documentary grant. They support independent, feature-length films that explore a wide range of Jewish experiences — whether historical or contemporary — and value fresh, nuanced storytelling. Projects at all stages (from development to post-production) are eligible, as long as a director and producer are attached and sample footage (at least 5 minutes) is available.
Deadline: January 16. More details & application here: Jewish Story Partners.
